| The Austin-Healey 3000 Mk2 BJ7 was a kind of intermediate model in the 3000 line-up. The BJ7 was the first to get the easy-to-operate folding hood in combination with wind-up windows. This was introduced to make the Austin-Healey more userfriendly and get a better weather protection. It was an appreciated improvement, and after a year the BJ7 made way for the 3000 Mk3. Now is the BJ7 a sought after car, as it has the combination of the early metal dashboard and the improved hood and windows, while the later Mk3 received the wallnut dashboard. The example we offer on sale is a well restored car, with a very powerful engine. In fact it is the fastest 3000 we have ever had. This Mk2 is also equiped with a brake servo system, so it stops as well as it goes. This is a car that asks to be driven : if you are searching for a fast Austin-Healey to participate in some historic rally or race events, then this is one that is worth to make a testdrive with.
