1966 Ferrari 500 Superfast Coupe ID.#8897 The Ferrari 500 Superfast became one of the most rarefied and exclusive of all flagship model Ferraris, as only 36 units were manufactured between October 1963 and August 1966. 28 examples were left hand drive cars while eight were built with the usually rarer right hand drive. Only twelve of these cars were the later 5 speed series II cars and this is one of them. The opulent and magnificent, highly sophisticated 500 Superfast is regarded as a significant and important milestone in the history of Ferrari.
