Wheels: 5.5J x 13” steel wheels. HISTORY Ex Works Ford / Team Lotus 1965 car and one of the most famous Mk I Lotus Cortinas. One of the original factory works cars raced in period by Jim Clark, Jack Sears and Sir John Whitmore at Goodwood, Silverstone, Crystal Palace, Brands Hatch, Oulton Park and Snetterton. Along with its sister car it won the 1965 British Saloon Car Championship. Restored in 2003/04 to original specification by Lotus Cortina restoration specialists, Exway coachworks, Exmouth. The engine underwent a total rebuild by engine specialist, Pat Thomas of Kelvedon Motors, to restore to full race spec. Suspension and steering modifications unique to this car have been retained and remain.
