| HU-93 is freshly painted with large Motul stickers in front and on the wing and is is outstanding condition After Spa Classic, the engine (BMW M12/7) - recently rebuild by Eric Wassermann (France) - now has 5 hours. The car has all the right parts and is totally race-ready. HU-93 comes with current FIA HTP. Spares include 6 wheels and an (old) front body. This is a rare opportunity to acquire the latest development of the Lola T29x lineage making HU-93 a very competitive car to run in CER, Masters, Le Mans classic, etc.. History: HU-93 started its racing career in 1979 being the Motul sponsored car of Jean-Louis Bos who won the European Hillclimb Championship with it! (see Motul article) In 1980, the car was then bought by the Carburol racing team allowing driver/owner Xiberras to finish 2nd in the chamipnship in 1982, 1983 and 1984. From the beginning, it has run with a 2 liter BMW M12/7 engine. In 1985, it was sold by Xiberras to Alain Schick in 1985 (see article attached) It was then acquired by B. Merian who sold it to Sylvain Stepak. It was then in its original dark blue color. Sylvain did a couple of CER races with it and sold it to Olivier Cazalieres who painted it with his own light blue color Olivier did a great 2009 CER season (won his class) with HU-93 and decided to move up to a DFV powered car. J-M Merlin bought the car from him in early 2010 but did not use HU-93 much at all. It was then sold to the current owner.
