| The pantera we offer here , chassis number 5006 was originally ordered from the factory in 1973 prepared to FIA group 3 specification on behalf of the Bang § Ofulsen importer in Belgium for the Belgian pilot Bernard De Dryver. The car competed successfully in various events, and in particular in the tour de France. In 1974 the Pantera was entrusted to Hervé Regout for the Belgian championship . The car from the team B§O and “Michel Vaillant” finished that year the Belgian championship in 2nd place overall. In Dijon, for the GT race during grand prix week-end meeting, the car finished a brilliant 3rd behind two works Porsche. The car was than exported to US. In 2005 the original importer Claude Dubois, discovered the car in California The Pantera came back to Belgium and passed to his current owner , who commissioned a total cosmetic and mechanical restoration. Repainted in its original Bang § Ofulsen livery and offered with a full and lengthy report prepared by respected Pantera historian and Le Mans racer Claude Dubois, this historic Group 3 Pantera is currently in perfect condition and comes with FIA papers ready to resume its competition career with a lucky new owner. One of 34 Gr3 cars made. Well known Bang & Olufsen car with extensive race history (tour de France, etc.) Fully restored and ready to enjoy. Arguably the best Gr3 Pantera ! Street registered and FIA HTP.
