For sale here is a Volvo P1800 from 1961 built by Jensen in England Although the car was restored some 30 years ago it still looks amazing. This car had only 4 owners and the last owner had the car for a very long time. It was driven often when the weather was nice and dry. Always kept in a dry heated garage. There is a lot of interesting history with this car. It won many awards for best restored car or peoples choice winner. Inside is a new grey carpet with a red interior. Please note that the seat upholstery is from 1961 and we have ordered new seatcovers for the front seats and will be installed shortly. Working original radio, new shocks, recently serviced. All panels fit extremely well on this car considering it is an early model. All instruments work as they should. Also, when the overdrive kicks in you are cruising along comfortably in 110km/h. (Overdrive was an option during this time). Locari inner fenders fitted. 1961 was the first year of production for the Volvo P1800 Coupe. 1963 the model was named Volvo P1800S for the simple reason that the production took place in Sweden. In 1970 the P1800E was born and later the P1800ES. The production ended 1973. There were almost 40,000 Volvo Coupes produced, but only 6,000 of these were from Jensen (1961-1963).
