| By the spring of 1934 when the luxurious Type 57 Bugatti made its debut Bugatti had well and truly established themselves as the race car to have for well over a decade and had become a name at the forefront of international culture and society. As such the illustrious manufacturer, headed by its charismatic leader and names sake, had produced some of the most striking and exciting fast touring and sports cars to compliment their racing thoroughbreds and the Type 57 would continue to take that to the next level. We are delighted to be able to offer the rare opportunity to acquire a complete, original, and effectively matching numbers Bugatti Type 57C; beautifully re-bodied in the mid 1960’s in the style of Colonel Giles’ famous Corsica Roadster ‘La Petitie Sezanne’. Immaculately presented throughout the engine, gearbox and brakes have undergone a full restoration by Jim Stranberg’s High Mountain Classics. Recently imported into the EU, with taxes paid and being UK road taxed and Mot’d as we speak. With its sleek, sporty and elegant lines, powerful 3.3 litre twin over head cam supercharged engine and legendary Bugatti road holding surely this has to be a must for the prestigious Bugatti and Pre-War tours and events around the globe.
