This Boxer comes with a full set of factory books & tools, shop manual, full records, 2 sets of factory wheels & tires, a fitted cover, the original radio & equalizer, & more, it needs nothing & can be driven with full confidence. It will pass the most discriminating pre-purchase inspection. It is truly a car we are delighted to offer at a most reasonable price. Which is one of the things that make this particular car so special? It was brought in new with test miles only, not as a used car with questionable prior experience. It received a very sympathetic & light conversion with no visible alterations to the aluminum body. Outwardly, the only modifications are the rectangular side markers which were attached to the fiberglass bumpers rather than cutting holes in the actual body. No ugly crash bumpers are evident so the gorgeous lines of the original shape are retained. The original exhaust is unaltered & is currently installed, but for California residents an alternate system with catalysts must be fitted. Cosmetically, the body is spectacular with none of the waves or dents often seen on the vulnerable light alloy body. The Rosso Corsa red paint is close to flawless & it has the classic "Boxer Trim" - the satin black below the beltline. The interior - black leather with red seat stripes & red carpets - is beautifully preserved, has never been dyed, & demonstrates the caring treatment this car has received by each of its 3 owners. The dashboard has been recovered to factory specs due to the dreaded leather shrinkage, has new instrument lenses, & is perfect. Mechanically, it has just rolled out of our shop having been subjected to a fully documented engine-out major service with timing belts, valve adjustment, cam seals & timing, a new factory clutch with throw-out bearing, all fluids, all accessory belts, & a full inspection at a cost of over $12,000. It drives beautifully - great power, no smoke, slick gearbox, & smooth suspension action
