| This is a very nice original right hand drive example of the purest Healey model. It has a very nice history and was restored to a high standard in the late 1990's to M Specification featuring many aluminium body panels and correct M spec engine with twin carbs and air box. This is exactly how you want a Healey to be! First registered on the 27th April 1955 to Mr Frederick Bushell of Pinner Middlesex, this Healey passed through a number of enthusiasts hands into the 1970's all of which is documented in correspondance in the substantial history file. One previous owner in. 1961 was Peter Godenho of Ladbroke Grove London, a famous dancer. A wonderful letter from a previous owner to the then current one dated January 1978 tells of the many adventures this chap had with the car, including commuting daily from Hampstead to Epsom, Surrey through the Winter of 1970/71 with no side screens!. A couple of photos accompany this letter showing the car in snow taken on Christmas Day 1970. In the mid 1990's a new owner embarked upon a restoration programme that was not completed until the turn if the century. Many invoices document the substantial and detailed nature of the work completed, this includes many new aluminium panels from AH Spares, the car also has an M spec louvred aluminium bonnet. All aspects of the car were addressed with much work being completed by The Northern Healey Centre. Mechanical work included upgrade to M Spec including the expensive Le Mans air box conversion. The last owner purchased the car from Healey specialist Murray Scott Nelson. Prior to supply the car was carefully checked over and panel fit was improved after which the car was given a repaint to high standards. As the pictures indicate this is a very nice 100/4 that looks right in all respects, it also drives extremely well having clearly been well sorted. The car comes with full weather equipment, now including side screens! Also there is the above mentioned substantial history file.
