We always try and have a nice Riva in stock and this is this months offering. It is an early Riva Junior from 1967, Hull No. 219. It is in a very good original condition and ready for immediate use. The Junior was conceived to replace the basic Florida model and, as its name suggests, was designed to be the baby of the Riva range, a multi-purpose small motorboat that could used be as a tender or equally for water-skiing. Its distinctive features include the open design of the cockpit and sundeck and the white painted sides for ease of maintenance – a clue to its principal target market, the USA, where owners tended to take care of boats themselves. From 1966 to 1972, 626 had been built. The last of the small wooden Rivas! Our boat was sold new in Genoa to a Mr. Boieri, it is currently registered in Italy and has all its papers. It has the 190hp Riva engine. This boat is in a lovely original condition and is ready for immediate use. It has all the desirable accessories including oars, bathing ladder, bimini top and many flares, lifejackets etc. The wood is all very nice and all the instruments are clear. The engine has only covered 589 hours from new. The boat comes with a brand new trailer to UK specification and also comes with a new Outdoor cover. with prices rising this is a rare chance to buy a nicely sorted Junior in a very good condition for a great price. All in all, this is a rare chance to own one of the most iconic objects in the world today. It is a very inexpensive introduction to a very exclusive club!
