| This is one of the finest “toolroom” recreations of a Jaguar C Type that we have been lucky enough to handle for many years. The above car was built in 2010 by Lynx and little used since. Titled as a Lynx on its FIA HTP papers the car is built to 1952 Production Car Spec, ie.drum brakes/twin Sandcast SU’s and has to be accurate to this specification in order to get the FIA/HTP. However, it has been built as a fast road/race car with arguably the highest specification you can go to for a road car and within the FIA’s criteria, and has the following: Engine: 3.4 Litre Engine Newly Rebuilt never raced Forged Italian Pistons 9.5:1 Compression ratio (that’s as high as a road engine will go). 4.2 XJ Injection Cams Lightened and Balanced Crank Gas Flowed Head Estimated 270 – 280 BHP Gearbox: 4 Speed Moss Box as original Rear Axle: 3.54 Racing (LSD) Powerlock Diff It is painted in California Sage Green with green leather and is in superb condition.
