The original Isetta was introduced as a three wheeled, single cylinder, two passenger vehicle. Later BMW saw the need for a car with more seating and larger motor, go figure?!? Thus, BMW introduced the 600 Isetta four seater. Only the front door and structure was carried over to the new model. A two-cylinder boxer engine became standard as did a semi-trailing arm, independent rear suspension design that BMW used for the next 40 years. This BMW Isetta has recently benefitted from a fresh repaint and new upholstery and would be a welcome addition to any collection, show field or a beach house car. Micro cars such as this BMW Isetta are sure to put a smile on your face every time one gets behind the wheel.
