| One of only 18 left drive Rolls-Royce versions of the aluminum bodied Flying Spur Sports Sedans built 1963-1966, this remarkably well preserved, never damaged specimen was acquired as a very original and low mileage example by its second owner in 1976. His collection contained many interesting low mileage Rolls-Royce and Bentley coachbuilt automobiles, invariably refinished to his taste. LSHS353C was the beneficiary of a high quality re-spray to its present Scots Pine Green over Sand. We acquired it in August of 1997 and supplied it to a very enthusiastic client who reportedly wanted one when they were new and fiscally beyond his reach. As part of our preparations the front seats were reupholstered in Beige Connolly hides to match the balance of the excellent original interior. Very effective boot mounted roof ducted air conditioning for the period was also installed. The original tools in their Mulliner box were in fine order as was the original handbook. The odometer reading when we delivered it in August 1997 was 29,683. Regrettably, he passed away several years later before extensively enjoying the car, as the mileage reading upon our recent acquisition from his estate was only 649 miles more although it was well looked after and properly sorted by qualified and sensitive personnel during their 14 years of stewardship.
