Live from the saleroom: RM sells 1965 Shelby 427 'Comp' Cobra for $1.35m

Just a short while after the big red car roared and rumbled 'over the block', auctioneer Max Girado slammed the hammer down at $1,350,000. Sold!... the RM way.

The car is one of several Cobras entered in the sale, held during the annual Monterey week festivities where this year Carroll Shelby features so highly.
