Osenat Auction at Fontainebleau, 16 October 2011: Preview

Osenat’s next 'Automobiles de Collection' sale will take place this Sunday, 16 October. A selection of motor cars and motorcycles will be offered at the company’s regular Fontainebleau venue, near Paris.

In addition to classic cars and 'bikes, a large selection of automobilia (and even boats and canoes) is catalogued. This includes tin signs, books and model cars, as well as classic motor boats by Chris Craft and a collection of unusual bicycles from a Japanese enthusiast.

Naturellement, French brands are to the fore in the motor car section, with interesting entries from Citroën (a 1978 Mehari 4x4, for example) and an example of the legendary décapotable DS Citroën by Chapron, this one a 1964 car estimated at 100,000 - 150,000 euros.
