The Bentley Mulsanne 'Mulliner Driving Specification'

Bentley will launch a more sporting version of its flagship Mulsanne at this year’s Geneva show. To ‘Mulliner Driving Specification’, the 184mph saloon now has a driver-selectable ‘Sport’ setting for its air suspension and steering, a raft of sporting features inside the cabin and unique, 21in wheels.

The revised handling is controlled by the car’s Drive Dynamics Control system. A rotary switch mounted next to the gearshift selector allows the new Sport setting to provide enhanced grip, body control and steering accuracy. “Without compromising ride comfort,” says Bentley.

Reprising Mulliner features of models past, the seats of a Mulsanne to Mulliner Driving Specification are diamond-quilted and perforated, with an all-new process producing the diamond-pattern perforations with ‘solid’ tramlines in-between.

Other Mulliner features in the cabin include drilled pedals and a ‘baseball-style’ cross-stitched gear lever. Externally, in addition to the two-part, 21in wheels, the newest Mulsanne has ‘Flying B’ vents on its wings.

Other new Mulsanne options to be announced at Geneva are a Bentley-designed, luxury bottle-cooler and rear-cabin storage area with space for two full-size Champagne bottles, and a large, tilt-opening, tinted glass sunroof for the front cabin.
