The expansion will double the headcount of the Bespoke staff based at Rolls-Royce’s premises in Goodwood, with extra designers, engineers and project managers bringing the number of Bespoke experts throughout the business to more than 50.
Bespoke enables customers to transform their new Rolls-Royce into a unique, hand-crafted masterpiece “as individual as the owner’s fingerprints”. It’s not limited to automotive parts, however, with Bespoke accepting commissions for such luxury items as picnic sets colour-matched to a car’s interior, luxurious interior materials or seamless storage for an owner’s belongings.
“The ability to bespoke one’s vehicle has always been at the heart of Rolls-Royce, so it is very encouraging to see that after more than one hundred years at the very pinnacle of the automotive world, our Bespoke services are still very much in demand from customers all over the world today”, concluded Member of the Board and Director, Sales and Marketing, Jolyon Nash.
