Bugatti 'L’Or Blanc': The 'flying saucer'

No sooner had Bugatti announced the end of Veyron Coupé production, than it followed with a special model based on the open Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport. The unique feature of the 1002HP one-off is the porcelain used in its exterior styling.

The Bugatti L’Or Blanc gives a new meaning to the expression 'flying saucer’. Produced as a one-off, the Bugatti L’Or Blanc is the world’s first car to sport porcelain on its bodywork.

In addition, some surfaces of the exterior coachwork and the interior have been made in white gold. The Molsheim car-maker used the 1002HP Veyron Grand Sport as a basis, which it then developed further in cooperation with the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM for short).

As a unique piece, the special model is priced at 1.65 million euros and porcelain may well feature in future models from the famous, now VAG-owned, brand.
