The 599 GTB Fiorano was until the F12 was launched recently Ferraris two-seat flagship, and was the successor to the 575M Maranello having replaced it in 2006. The 599 is of course a spiritual successor to the legendary 250 GT, 275 GTB and Daytona. With an Enzo-derived 5999cc V12 shoehorned into a latest generation all-alloy chassis, the 620bhp standard GTB was Ferrari's most powerful V12 production car ever. The 599 takes its name from its engine displacement Gran Turismo Berlinetta nature, and the Fiorano Circuit test track used by Ferrari - it was styled by Pininfarina under the direction of Ferrari's Frank Stephenson.
This example offered for sale was delivered as a UK RHD HGTE model and was supplied by Maranello in February 2010. It has had just one fastidious owner from new and is presented in Nero externally whilst the interior is equipped with Crema Leather and Black alcantara electric sports seats. The interior benefits from a carbon driving zone, iPod integration, satnav and LED shift lights in the carbon/leather steering wheel. The car has covered just 9,000 miles from new and has a full Maranello service history.
What sets this car apart from others is its performance upgrades that result in staggering statistics. The car benefits from a twin compressor conversion by Novitec. This ups the standard power output to a whopping 900 BHP! A custom exhaust has standard HGTE tail tips but is designed specifically for the conversion and incorporates Manettino adjusted exhaust valves thus producing a fantastic sound! Under the bonnet the intercooler and inlet manifolds are cleverly designed so that they fit neatly under a full silver carbon cover without the need for modification to any of the bodywork.
The car sits on 20" unique three piece wheels. The front of the car is fitted with full adjustable suspension with a front hydraulic lifting system (40mm). The car also features unique subtle visual tweaks that include a front splitter, rear double diffuser, rear screen diffuser, unique black rear and side lights, chromed grilles and colour coded mirrors.
This car is truly unique and offers what some would consider as a superior alternative to the 599 GTO at a fraction of the price. The car is presented in superb condition and is available to view immediately.
