| We have had quite a lot Aston Martin DB2‘s in our life. After approximately 70 DB2 and DB2/4‘s we think that we can seperate the nice examples from the less nice examples. This specific grey example is one of a kind. The car is in every aspect very impressive. The color combination makes it a very attracting car to look at but inside the car is very nice and cosy. Although the car is extremely restored, one can sit very well in the car. It wouldn’t be the first car which has been over the top restored on such a way that the leather looks nice but a normal sit is not possible anymore. If one drives this example, it is a typical DB2 with a fantastic sound, and quite a lot of power. But actually it is probably even nicer to look at the car then to drive it. If you should take a chair to look at the linings, you would not believe that it was possible to design but more important, to create this car in 1951. Please take the time to look at a picture of this DB2 which has been taken from the side. On this picture you can see the impressive lining from the back of the car till the door. This is made without any interruption. Also the back of the car is unique. The roundings of the back of the car makes it for most people unclear what sort of car it is. If people see the front and the bage of Aston Martin, then the reactions are undescribable. During the last show we have had different Aston Martin’s on our stand including a DB2 and a DB4 and a DB6. We have asked quite a lot of people what is the nicest looking car. The honest people who didn’t know anything about prices are telling us what we knew when we bought our first Aston Martin DB2. The lining is much more special and more unique then the lining of a DB4, a DB5 or a DB6. Nevertheless until now the prices of these DB2’s have not reached the prices of the DB4, 5 or 6 yet but it wouldn’t surprise us if we have to delete this sentence in the near future. But now back to this Grey DB2. Overall the car is very nice. Everything has been restored including the engine, the drive train, the clutch, the brakes etc. etc. It has been a nut and bolt restoration. The doorfittings are excellent, actually a bit nicer then it was originally when the DB2 left the factory. Anyway, if you are looking for one of the nicest DB2’s on the market please contact us.
