RM's 10m-euro Aalholm Collection sale, 12 August 2012

1952 Jaguar XK120 Roadster: Sold for 235,200 DKK (31,600 euros, approx)

INCLUDES FULL RESULTS. RM Auctions’ ‘Without Reserve’ sale of the Aalholm Museum collection in Denmark grossed over 10 million euros.

Top-selling car was the 1938 Maybach Zeppelin DS8 Roadster which achieved 10,192,000 DKK (that’s around 1.35m euros at today’s exchange rate).

In a predominantly pre-War entry, some post-War highlights included 448,000 DKK (say 60k euros) for the 1959 Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupé, the 1964 Porsche 356C Coupé (336,000 DKK, or 45,100 euros) and the 313,600 DKK, 1972 Jaguar E-type Series III Roadster, a figure that equates to nearly 42,200 euros.

1958 Bentley S1 Saloon: 392,000 DKK (52,667 euros, approx)
