Custom Bike by Deus ex Machina: ‘The Mouse Trap’

Australian custom builder Deus ex Machina has taken a 2008 Yamaha Scorpio bike as a donor and totally rebuilt it, spraying it baby blue and adding the finishing touch of ‘Tom’, from Tom and Jerry, whose characteristic profile acts as a tank badge.

The Sydney-based company specialises in surfin’ dude style and its showroom/café/HQ has now become a “shrine to ‘run-what-you-brung’ resourcefulness and street-honest industrial art”.

Described as a “Sharapova-shrieking, 4-valve inner city café runt”, 'The Mouse Trap' has new mudguards, alloy tank and exhausts. Every component has been repainted blue, bar the engine, which is sprayed satin black.
