This highly desirable example of a Shelby registered GT350 is a 1966 ('65 build) example presented in the correct Wimbledon White with Guardsman Blue stripes and has been freshly FIA'd (April 2012) and thus is ready for the most prolific of race series' including HSCC, Masters et al. Although not a matching numbers car this is a most cost effective way into the most prolific of race series' notably the Spa 6hrs where in 2012 two GT350's recorded a first and second in class. With the very best Shelby GT350's now commanding north of £200,000, this particular car represents fantastic value and will provide many seasons of fantastic racing for its new owner. This particular GT350 has not turned a wheel in anger since preparation was completed and consequently is in fantastic condition both inside and out - it's even taxed and MOT'd for the road. The 65-66 GT350's were the smallest, lightest and built in the lowest numbers of all the Shelby Mustangs. Sadly on 11th May 2012, Carroll Shelby passed away - we will always remember him as a true Motorsport legend.
