| A truly exceptional car, the Aston Martin Vantage V8 V550 was built in strictly limited numbers with only 236 ever completed. Built for the discerning sports car owner, the intercooled 5340cc V8 with twin Eaton superchargers produces an approximate 550bhp. Four Pot AP racing calipers on ventilated steel disc brakes along with a forward anti-roll bar allow the driver to take advantage of this assured power. Only the second ever Aston Martin model to receive the ‘Vantage’ name in its own right, the automotive styling marked out its special nature. Deep set headlights grouped in two sets of three, a chin spoiler, air vents and wide wheel arches are but a few of the features which give the Vantage its truly formidable appearance. Incidentally, all of its aluminium panels were handcrafted. This particular model enjoys several extra features. Along with the full Vantage specification, the car includes imposing 18’’ magnesium alloy wheels and Le Mans aluminium fuel caps, not fitted to the standard Vantage. Furthermore, the car’s interior aesthetics are emboldened by white Le Mans dials in the instrument panel and an upgraded stereo and TV system help enhance the in car entertainment. Finally, the car is finished in rare Mendip Blue with a Parchment Leather interior giving it a stand-out appearance over many of its fellow Vantages.
