CARTIER MINIATURE ART-DECO DESK CLOCK - ORIGINAL BOX

Very fine and very rare, Art-Deco, chromed, enamel and coral-set, 8-day going, keyless
miniature desk clock. Accompanied by the original gold-tooled tan morocco fitted box.
Octagonal, three-body, chromed brass, polished, coral-colored enamel bezel, back
secured by two screws, the clock pivoted between square-section pillars decorated with
an Art Deco design in black champlevé enamel, each with a coral-set terminal, stepped
rectangular base.
Octagonal two-tone, matte silver and gilt, luminous Art-Deco Arabic numerals,
outer minute track, sunray engine-turned center. Luminous blued steel skeleton hands.
33 mm., matte gilt, jeweled to the third, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic
compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
