Roy Nockolds (British, 1911-1979), 'John Cobb - Napier Railton Mobil Special',
signed and dated 1947, oil on canvas, depicting the Napier Lion engined car driven by Cobb to a new Land Speed Record at the Utah Salt Flats on 16th September 1947, averaging a speed of 394.19mph over the measured mile, 40 x 50cm, in wooden frame.
