Description

Since the prototype was unveiled in 1963, the Porsche 911 has gone on to become perhaps the most famous sports car of all time. A classically Germanic blend of engineering excellence and austerely beautiful design, it remains to this day perhaps the only supercar that can be reliably used every day.

This matching numbers original 1975 lefthand drive Porsche 911 ‘S' with 5-speed manual gearbox and sunroof is offered in delightful Peru Red with contrasting tan cloth interior. It boasts Koni shocks front and rear, 4 wheel disc brakes and bosch K-Jetronic CIS fuel injection. The original AM/FM cassette player will be provided with the car additionally to the CD player fitted in the car at present.

The vendor of this car reports that it drives very well indeed with no faults and that everything works as it should. He describes the car as excellent throughout and that the car receives admiring glances wherever it goes.

The vendor kept this car at his holiday home in Florida for 3 years and during this time he used it very sparingly before bringing it back to his home here in the UK. It forms part of a large collection of cars he owns and he is currently slimming down his collection in anticipation of purchasing a classic Ferrari.

The speedometer currently shows just over 30,000 miles. The vendor reports the 2.7 ‘S' litre engine was professionally rebuilt at approximately 20,800 miles, however since the speedometer has only a 5 digit display this is believed to be 130,000 miles with the vendor believing this to be correct.

Supplied with a file of receipts for work carried out on the car, its original rare owner's manual and maintenance record books detailing the original owner's initial usage in 1975 which like the car itself are both presented in excellent period condition.
