Description

- Registered in Pisa in 1969, this Ferves Ranger 4x4 still has its original number plates and logbook with the 4x4 specification. Originally bought by a Tuscan company that worked on roads and motorways, it was later sold to the current owner’s grandfather and has remained in the family ever since. Restoration work began several years ago, but was not completed.
- Rare yellow colour, with black interior, bodywork extremely sound and complete in every detail, totally repainted and restored where necessary. Interior complete, rear seat upholstery to be redone. Undercarriage sound.
- Complete and original engine, in running order, but stopped for several years in a dry place. When purchased, it was converted by the then owner to 2-wheel drive, using it to go hunting he felt that 4-wheel drive made the Ranger more difficult and challenging to drive. Complete mechanics, except for the transmission to the front wheels, thus missing the driveshaft, front differential, front axle shafts and gearbox with PTO: these components are available on the market, not being specific to the Ranger, but derived. MOT no longer valid.
- One of the few survivors of the 600 or so units produced, this is an extraordinary and rare vehicle, fun to use and capable of handling and standing out in any context. The Ferves Ranger 4x4 is one of the most valuable and sought-after Fiat 500-based derivatives, a purely working vehicle with a very simple body and Spartan finish, but with an unmistakable line.
- The car must be collected from the province of Pescara.
