Description

The GTS version of the 246 Dino arrived at the Geneva Salon in March 1972. It featured a removable targa roof panel that could be stowed behind the seats, the chassis being reinforced with extra bracing along the sides and front of the engine frame. Visibly the GTS had no rear three-quarter windows, these being replaced by a bank of three vents carved out from each sail panel. GTS's were all built on the series III (or "M") platform. Production of both the GT and GTS came to an end in 1974. 1274 GTS's were built in just over two years, 235 of which were in right-hand drive.

This exceptional 1973 GTS is presented in as restored condition. The car's full restoration was carried out by renowned model specialist Nick Cartwright. Since the restoration the car has covered a minimal mileage and as result the car looks and drives just as well as it did immediately after the full restoration.
