Description

Our Camaro is an original model, fully restored with the rare 4-speed mechanical gearbox and equipped with the original RS (Rally Sport) and SS (Super Sport) packages.

The car was delivered new to California in 1968, where it spent most of its life. The last American owner (Washington State) began restoring the car, treating the entire body, engine and gearbox.

Imported into France in 2017, it was registered as a collector car in 2018 by the previous owner, who completed the restoration and made the car more reliable.

A true rarity in mechanical gearbox form, this is the Rally Sport model, which features a specific body pack and the famous electric headlight covers.

The Super Sport package is fitted with a 6.5-liter 396ci V8 "Big Block" engine developing 350 hp. 34,411 models were produced. The car was repainted black in May 2016, and was originally Rallye Green. The bodywork is flawless and rust-free.

We have the duplicate keys, an appraisal report dated December 2023, a large file of American invoices (over fifty) and numerous French invoices tracing the entire restoration.

The vehicle is covered by a 6-month Triomphe Héritage warranty with a ceiling of €5,000 and 10,000km. Extension of duration (12, 24 or 36 months) and/or ceiling (10,000€) possible.

The car can be seen in Paris and on the Mecanicus website for more photos.

Trade-in and financing available.
