The full monte: this Lancia Fulvia is the complete daily drivable classic package

On the hunt for a usable classic to be your road trip companion for 2024? Look no further than this Lancia Fulvia Monte-Carlo for sale with Kessel!

As a general rule, classic cars with race-winning pedigree, Italian heritage, and a fabulous design tend not to come cheap, but Lancia Fulvia seems to be the exception for the moment, which is why we included it in our 10 cars to watch list for 2024. Now, thanks to Kessel, we’ve found perhaps the perfect Lancia Fulvia to satisfy your classic driving itch this year.

However, this is no regular Fulvia, as the eagle-eyed among our readers may have noticed. That matte black bonnet and boot lid aren’t just there for the added visual aggression (and reduced glare), instead they reveal that this lovely example is a Fulvia Monte-Carlo: a special edition of the Fulvia built in honour of the the No.14 HF Fulvia driven by Sandro Munari and Mario Mannucci to victory in the 1972 Monte Carlo Rally.

Piero Castagnero’s fabulous design looks as great as ever on this 1974 Fulvia Monte-Carlo, which shows 60,800 km on the clock and looks to be in fantastic condition. The Monte-Carlos were all based on the Series II Fulvia 1.3, and therefore this example features a steel body with slightly flared wheel arches, while the license plate lights were fixed to the boot lid rather than the bumper. Step inside, and you’ll see that this Fulvia’s typically simplistic yet attractive interior remains in outstanding shape, while the dash-mounted rally clocks further underline this car’s competition heritage. So, whether you plan on entering some historic motoring events in 2024, or simply intend on enjoying your local roads in one of Lancia’s greatest models, this Fulvia Monte-Carlo is ready and waiting with Kessel.
