Snapshot, 1966: Even gentlemen are only men...

Men are slaves to testosterone, the poor dears. While this picture was taken in London at a time of sexual revolution and hitherto-unknown freedom, there’s little doubt that the smartly suited gentlemen would be embarrassed to see the photograph – and their wives would be furious.

Ignoring the voluptuous outline of the Aston Martin Volante, their eyes are pointedly fixed elsewhere. Perhaps they work in the fashion industry, and are simply taking a professional interest in 1960s hemlines? All except for the man on the left. Has he found something even more fascinating in the company accounts? Or is that his wife?
