Our 10 favourites from the Ferrari Memorabilia and Race Car Parts auction in Genoa

Any gentleman with a weakness for Ferrari – and a bit of spare space in his den – will relish the chance to bid on some unique collectors’ items from Maranello’s history this month. We’ve selected our 10 favourites…

Ferraris for the wall

On 18 December 2014, in Genoa, Italian auction house Cambi will be putting around 100 items of Ferrari memorabilia under the hammer – including handsome model F1 race cars such as the 1976 Ferrari 312 T2, estimated at 500 to 1,000 euros. Or, if you have more money to spend (and a great deal more space in your ‘Ferrari den’), how about the stack of Ferrari wall tiles, each one 33cm x 33cm, and enough in total to tile 50 square metres? Enzo Ferrari personally ordered them in the 1970s from Ceramiche Piemme, Gilles Villeneuve’s sponsor, to decorate his office and showroom. They carry an estimate of 28,000 to 30,000 euros.
