The class categories for the follow-up to last year’s successful event have been completely overhauled, promising visitors a whole new display – albeit with no loss of quality. Among them will be an assembly of ACF Grand Prix cars, a dedication to ‘iconoclastic interiors’ and a tribute to ‘The Famous Ladies' Cars’ – might we see the Bergman 375 MM make another concours appearance?
Building on the familiar formula
Elsewhere, several classes will celebrate pre-War machinery, while GT cars, and Formula One Grand Prix Cars from 1966 to 1972, are both given a judging group. Two further displays are designated ‘Special’: a tribute to Jean Todt, and one more to be revealed at Rétromobile 2015. As with the 2014 event, the concours jury will preside over three challenges: the Concours d’Elegance, Concours d’Etat and Grand Prix Club. The 2015 Chantilly Arts & Elegance will take place on Sunday 6 September 2014; for further information, visit the official website.
