| This beautiful DB4 Coupe is finished in Caribbean Pearl complemented by Dove Grey Hide with contrasting Surf Blue Wilton carpets, having recently been extensively refurbished throughout to an extremely high standard by a reputable Aston Martin specialist. 400 AAB was supplied new on 29th March 1960 to its original owner, a Mr W. H. Cooper who actually kept the car until 2009. DB4/291/R was stored for mechanical works in 1972 but not touched until it was re-discovered in a barn, where it had resided for over thirty years. The lightweight aluminium body was found to be in excellent condition with original panels, very little rust and no evidence of damage repairs. It was recommissioned between 2010 and 2011 and taken back to bare metal. Every component was re-chromed or plated and the entire vehicle was rebuilt to original specification. A comprehensive photographic portfolio accompanies the car, along with all invoices for the restoration work. With only two previous owners from new, this DB4 has been preserved as a highly original example. Complete with it's original engine, gearbox, tools and Motorola radio, the car has covered a genuine 85,000 miles from new. DB4/291/R is presented in stunning condition throughout and is supplied with an MoT Test Certificate until November 2012, new chrome wire wheels and new Michelin tyres. These early DB4 models are rapidly becoming one of the most desirable of all the Aston DB models as the design remained pure to the original before becoming heavier on the introduction of the DB5 etc. This is a great opportunity to acquire one of the prettiest DB4's available for sale anywhere.
