. one of ca. 115 built Der Wagen wurde in silber/schwarz in die Schweiz an Pierre de Siebenthal 1966 ausgeliefert und war bis 1982 in dessem Besitz. Anschließend kaufte ein Mr. Skip Hinojos in CA-USA den Wagen und importierte diesen entsprechend in die USA. Ende der Achtzigern hat Mr. Oliver Kuttner -auch USA- den Wagen gekauft und ist damit verunfallt. Der Wagen wurde so nach Italien verkauft und PRECAR di Carlo Maganza, Mailand beauftragten den absoluten Spezialisten Salvatore Diomante für die Restaurierung. Für die Restaurierung gibt es Rechnungen aus 1992 und 1993. Im Jahr 1995 kam der Bizzarrini in die Sammlung von Giuseppe Prevosti, Varese (bedeutender Stofffabrikant), Dieser Bizzarrini 5300 GT Strada gelangte vor 5 Jahren in die Hände des jetzigen Sammlers. Giotto Bizzarrini- der Vater des 250 GTO- sagte von diesem Fahrzeug: Ich habe mit dem Ferrari GTO angefangen und nicht aufgehört ihn weiter zu entwickeln. The example offered here, Bizzarrini 5300 GT Strada, chassis number IA30247, was acquired several years ago by Giuseppe Prevosti to join his growing collection. It is understood that this car was involved in an accident and was imported to Italy for complete restoration. No expense was spared in ensuring that the restoration, undertaken by marque specialist Salvatore Diomante, was carried out to the very highest possible standard – a fact borne out by the beautiful and very straight condition of the car today. Finished in a very elegant and sporting combination of silver with black leather interior, this car has been little used since restoration; the paintwork is described as near perfect, and the chrome, trim, and interior are similarly in as-new condition. Giotto Bizzarrini – the ‘Father’ of the 250 GTO – said of this car, ‘I started with the idea of the Ferrari GTO and set about trying to improve on it.’
