| 1991 Ex–Jean Alesi, Ferrari 642 F1. Chassis number 126 Race ready and complete with all equipment to run and drive. At the beginning of the 1991 F1 World championship Jean Alesi drove #126 in three races, his best finish being a podium position in Monaco. He also drove the car in the Canadian Grand Prix on Montreal’s lle Notre Dame Circuit, where, significantly in 1995 he would score not only his only F1victory but also the last win for a V12 powered Ferrari and finally Jean used 126 for the last time for the Mexican GP at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez Circuit. Once retired from Grand Prix racing #126 was kept in Maranello until the factory restored it using an original 3.5 litre 5 valve 740 BHP engine and sold it to a private collection, where the car remained professionally stored and unused until it was acquired by a multiple historic Ferrari Formula 1 owner and racer based in the US, from whom we have recently purchased it. The 642 series is one of the most desirable and useable of all Formula 1 Ferrari’s, universally recognised as one of the best looking of all later model Ferrari F1’s that is possible to operate privately without factory input as hugely complicated electric and hydraulic systems of the later model F1’s are not utilised in this model. Also available at extra cost is a test prior to delivery, plus a unique package of arrive and drive entries and support to major events held in USA and Europe in 2012 via a highly experienced Ferrari ‘F1 Clienti’ team along with driver information and tuition and an introduction to Ferrari F1 Clienti division in Maranello. $895,000 USD.
