Dieser Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet der Baureihe 997.2 ist ein Exemplar der „Edition 918 Spyder“, das nur 918 mal als Coupé oder Cabriolet gefertigt wurde. Dieses Sondermodell wurde im Zuge der Präsentation des Hochleistungs-Hybrid-Supercars 918 Spyder im Jahr 2010 aufgelegt, das von 2013 bis 2015 gefertigt wurde. Der 911 Turbo S war nur den Bestellern eines 918 Spyder vorbehalten, die mit dieser Edition die Warte- und Lieferzeit auf ihren 918 Spyder „überbrücken“ und die Vorfreude genießen konnten. Die 911 Turbo S der Edition hatten exklusive optische Spezifikationen des 918 Spyder. Dazu gehörten farbige Applikation in „Acid Green“ an Bremssätteln, Außenspiegelträgern, Schriftzug am Heck und in den Türschwellern sowie diverse Elemente in Carbon. Im Innenraum finden sich entsprechende farbige Ziernähte an Sitzen und Armaturenträger, ein Schriftzug auf den Kopfstützen sowie passende Zeiger in den Armaturen. Dieses Fahrzeug wurde am 20. Juli 2012 über das Porsche Zentrum Hamburg an seinen ersten Besitzer in Hamburg ausgeliefert. Es ist Nummer 797 der „918 Spyder“ Sonderserie im Farbschema meteorgrau-metallic (anthrazit) mit Volllederausstattung und Verdeck in schwarz. Das Fahrzeug verfügt über eine quasi Vollausstattung, deren Umfang in separater Aufstellung verfügbar ist. Der Wagen wurde später an einen Sammler in Österreich verkauft, dort jedoch nicht zugelassen. Die vollständige Bordmappe mit Serviceheft und allen Stempeln sowie sämtlichen Bedienungsanleitungen, die Servicehistorie, TÜV-Berichte von 2015, 2017 und 2019 sowie die letzte Service-Rechnung von 2019 im Porsche Zentrum Hamburg sind vorhanden.

Im Sommer 2006 stellte Porsche die fünfte Generation des 911 Turbo (der Baureihe 997) vor. Dieser Turbo hatte einen 3,6 Liter Boxermotor mit zwei Turboladern und wie schon die Baureihen 993 und 996 zuvor einen permanenten Allradantrieb. Zudem war er erstes in Serie gebautes Fahrzeug mit Benzinmotor eines deutschen Herstellers mit verstellbaren Leitschaufeln an den Abgasturbinen der Turbolader (variable Turbinengeometrie, VTG). Die Leistung betrug 480 PS. Im Zuge des Facelifts im Modelljahr 2009 (von nun an 997.2) erhielt die Turbo-Version einen größeren Hubraum von 3,8 Litern sowie eine Direkteinspritzung und war in zwei Leistungsstufen verfügbar: 500 PS (Turbo) und 530 PS (Turbo S). Die 997.2 Turbo waren mit manueller 6-Gang Schaltung oder 7-Gang Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) erhältlich – der Turbo S nur mit PDK. Zudem wurde erstmals die Porsche Ceramic Composite Bremse (PCCB) angeboten, die auch als Keramikbremse bezeichnet wird und beim Turbo S serienmäßig verbaut wurde.

This Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet from the 997.2 series is an example of the "Edition 918 Spyder", which was only produced 918 times as a Coupé or Cabriolet. This special model was launched in the course of the presentation of the high-performance hybrid supercar 918 Spyder in 2010, which was produced from 2013 to 2015. This 911 Turbo S edition was reserved only for those ordering a 918 Spyder, who could "bridge" the waiting and delivery time for their 918 Spyder with this Turbo and enjoy the anticipation. The 911 Turbo S of the edition had exclusive visual specifications of the 918 Spyder. These included coloured application in "Acid Green" on brake callipers, exterior mirror supports, lettering at the rear and in the door sills as well as various elements in carbon. In the interior, there are corresponding coloured decorative stitching on the seats and dashboard, lettering on the headrests and matching pointers in the dashboards. This vehicle was delivered to its first owner in Hamburg via the Porsche Centre Hamburg on 20 July 2012. It is number 797 of the "918 Spyder" special series in the colour scheme meteor grey metallic (anthracite) with full leather interior and soft top in black. The car has a quasi-full equipment, the extent of which is available in a separate listing. The car was later sold to a collector in Austria, but not registered there. The complete on-board folder with service booklet and all stamps as well as all owner's manuals, service history, MOT (TÜV) reports from 2015, 2017 and 2019 as well as the last service invoice from 2019 at the Porsche Centre Hamburg are available.

In the summer of 2006, Porsche presented the fifth generation of the 911 Turbo (the 997 series). This Turbo had a 3.6 litre boxer engine with two turbochargers and, like the 993 and 996 series before it, permanent all-wheel drive. In addition, it was the first series-produced vehicle with a petrol engine from a German manufacturer with adjustable guide vanes on the exhaust turbines of the turbochargers (variable turbine geometry, VTG). The output was 480 hp. In the course of the facelift in model year 2009 (from now on 997.2), the turbo version received a larger displacement of 3.8 litres as well as direct injection and was available in two power levels: 500 hp (Turbo) and 530 hp (Turbo S). The 997.2 Turbo was available with manual 6-speed transmission or 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) - the Turbo S only with PDK.
