This Dino was sold new by Gran Prix Motors, Seattle, WA in 1972 and serviced there. 1974 Norman Hernandez purchased the car and continued to service it at GP Motors. 1984 Emery Rhodes, Seattle, WA purchased the car and had the service handled by Ray Segale, a former employee of GP Motors. The car was repainted dark red in 1987 and put in storage shortly after that. In 1994 William Ruth, Piedmont, CA purchased the Dino and had Patrick Otis service the car. In 2021 Patrick Smiekel purchased the car from Ruth's widow. There is full ownership history and service records from new.
The Dino has recently had a new black leather interior, new ANSA exhaust, the wheels restored and new tires. A full mechanical restoration was completed by Niederst Restorations, Ventura, CA in September 2023 which include new 10.5 to 1 pistons, complete rebuild of engine and drive train.
All panels are original and fit well. There is no evidence of rust or damage repair. The paint is over 35 years old and in very nice condition due to the car being in storage most of the time from 1987 until 2021. The tools, books, and jack are include with the car.
