This is the very same car that was on display at the 1973 Barcelona Car Show.

Equipped with a 225 Slant Six 3.7-litre engine with 165 hp manufactured by Chrysler Spain, front Kelsey disc brakes, Targa alloy rims, ZF power steering and front torsion bar suspension and leaf springs on the back.

Designed by Michel Liprandi based on an original design by Franco Scaglione and produced in a small series by Pedro Serra at his workshops in Barcelona. Its peculiar history makes the car the most special Spanish sports car ever handcrafted since the Pegaso Z-102.

A production of 40 cars/year had been planned, but only between 20 and 25 cars were manufactured (from 1972 to 1973) because it was impossible to obtain approval as manufacturer. Currently, only 17 cars have survived, most of them unrestored.

The full the car history is documented. Until 2001, the car remained in the hands of the first owner. The third owner restored the car partially in 2010, and the current one ordered a full rebuilt of the vehicle to the specialist Auto Storica, in Barcelona.

The metallic bronze-coloured paintwork of the bodywork looks intensely shiny. All the mouldings were chrome-plated again or polished. The lights and the corresponding trims were renewed. Rims, windows and windscreen frame were restored.

The seats and the centre console were upholstered with vinyl, keeping the original dashboard and roof. A Becker Europa radio with power antenna has been mounted. The power windows and the air conditioning have been checked and they work.

In 2018, a second phase of restoration began, focusing on the mechanical part. All the components were disassembled, renewing and painting the underbody of the chassis and all the elements in the engine bay.

The engine was mounted again, fully restored, including the entire cooling system, radiator, water pump and its sleeves. The transmission was checked, together with the universal joint and the rear differential.

The brakes were renewed, as well as the suspension. The discs were adjusted and new calipers, pads and hoses were fitted. The car has new radial tyres and it has passed the annual vehicle inspection without flaws.

With Spanish up-to-date documents and valid vehicle inspection (Spanish ITV). You can view and collect this vehicle in Barcelona, Spain. For further information, please contact Catawiki and check this link: https://dodgeserraboulevard.weebly.com/register.html
